  • Your Nose is the part of your body more associated with your genitalia. So when some people get sexually stimulated, their noses will engorge with blood, just like their genitalia and they won't be able to breathe. So they'll start sneezing uncontrollably.😱 😱
  • Mouth Breathing is bad for you? Why??? Watch the episode and learn!
  • How we breathe is going to greatly influence our posture and our posture is going to influence how we breathe. Fascinating!
  • Mouth Taping will improve your sleep period! TIP: You can also try mouth taping your spouse during the day as a stress reducer technique. 😉

Just supposing you did something between 8 and 9--- million times every year. Does it seem probable you would form a habit? How about if you did it 80 to 90 million times over 10 years?

Sure, it would probably become a habit and that's why 70% of the people in the world do it wrong. Because they've been doing it wrong for so long it becomes a habit. As you just heard from James Nestor, it's your breathing.

As you now know, You breathe between 20,000 and 25,000 times a day and that comes out to 8 to 9 million times a year. So what should you do to switch from breathing through your mouth to breathing through your nose?

You do what you do with any habit that you want to form, you just start doing it .Here are 3 suggestions on how to get the most from this podcast with James Nestor:

#1- Stop being  a mouth breather and begin  breathing through your nose. Get mouth tape to help you do this while you're asleep.

#2-Get a device that will measure your sleep efficiency and effectiveness, and see with scientific evidence how nose breathing affects the sleep that you get.

#3- When you're awake and breathing, breathe calmly, be at peace.

Of course the one other action step to take is, get the book "BREATH", right now and read it. It's going to be hard to put down and the results can be life-changing for you.

Now the second part of your PLAN OF ACTION is, what did you see and hear that made James so compelling, that you finished this podcast? Sure he was soft-spoken, kind-hearted, thoughtful and happy. What a great smile has. Yet most important, it was what he said. It was his message!

Here are 3 suggestions to help you be an even better communicator and speaker, when you talking about your passion and about your expertise:

#1-James avoided absolutes. He didn't say a lot of ALWAYS and NEVERS. Instead he said things like ,"this isn't 100%" or "this doesn't work for everyone". What this does, the absence of absolutes, it gives you credibility. It makes you sound more realistic, instead of Pollyanna or pie in the sky

#2-James shared scientific evidence and in his book he gives you the documentation of who he talked to, where it was and when it was. This is a powerful tool that you can use to add to your credibility and to your expertise. Explain where you got your information. This makes things more factual and scientific as opposed to seat of the pants and fairy tales.

#3-James left his ego in a closet. There was no sense of self-importance or arrogance. As a matter of fact he downplayed everything. He even opened by having us laugh, using self-deprecating humor, after Robbie introduced him. This is important when you make a presentation and speak. It's not about you it's about the ideas that you're sharing and how they can help your audience. Get yourself out of the way.

If you're going to use speaking to grow your business and share your thoughts, your expertise and your wisdom follow these three simple tips. You will speak even better and then, when you use the three tips that James gave you, you're going to feel even better as well!

That's what the ULTIMATE YOU PODCAST is all about, being the best you can be--- physically and the best you can be in expressing your ideas and sharing your wisdom.

Now -- MAKE it a great day!
